I love it actually. I think Tess, Tessa and Tessy/Tessie are all nice for full names.

Ok. as nn for Tess, Tessa or Theresa, but just Tessie seems a little silly.

I think it's a little juvenile sounding, but I love Nessie, so who cares what I think, anyways?!

I dislike Tessa, I think it sounds unintelligent, but Tessie is cute as a nn for Theresa.

I think it's better as a nickname. I prefer Tess, Tessa, and Teresa to Tessie, but Tessie isn't all that bad. It reminds me of Jessie and Bessie, which I've encountered on their own here and there. Nicknames as full names don't necessarily bother me. There are quite a few I like, but the -essie sound doesn't really appeal to me all that much.

I think its lovely although a bit too cutesey as a full name. I would use Tessie as a nickname for Teresa.

As a full name I think it's silly and childish. But as a nickname for Tessa or Theresa, it's adorable.

I know a German Theresa who always goes by Tessi. Like you, I can live with it but I wouldn't have chosen it myself. (For some reason I love Tessa and don't like Theresa. Go figure.)

I think Tessie is a really cute nickname (especially on a kid) but I think I'd use Tessa to have something more mature to fall back on.
