Despite the ongoing legal battle with Bennie’s biological mother, the Edmunds-Fletcher family is a happy little bunch and are overjoyed when they find out they are expecting again. However, the pregnancy is not easy and the baby is born a little prematurely. S/he is mostly healthy and able to go home shortly after s/he’s born, but the family was certainly glad to all have each other to lean on when things were not their best. Sorry about that, I had a really busy week of college this week.

Not that long after Liora began her internship, she was working in the Obstetrics department. One morning, an ambulance radioed that they were bringing in a young pregnant woman. The woman, in the last month of her pregnancy, was in labor. No one came to the hospital with her, and she was able to tell the doctors that she had no immediate family to call. Suddenly, her pain got worse and she was rushed to the delivery room. Liora and the rest of the doctors were able to get the baby delivered safely. However, the woman soon passed away from too much bleeding.
Left with a newborn baby boy, Liora's duty was to try to find the father or any of his family. By the end of the day, she had discovered that the father, an only child with no immediate family just like the mother, had been a police officer killed in the line of duty a few months prior to the birth. The child would become a ward of the state, unless Liora could do something about it.
Her next call was to Declan, who immediately jumped on the idea of fostering with the intent to adopt. As the O'Connells had recently become certified foster parents, it was easier for Children's Services to agree to give them emergency custody of the baby boy. Somehow, they were also given almost immediate word that they could adopt the boy after a mandatory fostering period. This was almost certainly Liora's adoptive grandfather Sergey's doing, as he had a good amount of influence in the country from his longtime position as an ambassador.
The resident on the boy's case gave Liora the duty of working through all the normal tests a newborn would have before leaving the hospital. This was how she discovered that he appeared to have some level of hearing issues - though they wouldn't be able to confirm for sure until he was older.

Jenson and Eli decided to adopt a baby girl! It was a fairly long process but she was definitely worth the wait. Her original name was Poppy Olivia, and she was given up as her mother just simply could not look after her, and thought she would be better off with another family who could give her the love she needed. Jenson and Eli have decided to keep her first name, Poppy, but have changed her middle name to Beatrice, a name they both like, and that of Jenson's mother.
Poppy Beatrice is settling in very well, and Jenson and Eli are enjoying every minute of her. They are doting parents, but Eli is annoying Jenson about how worried he is over every little detail, such as the temperature of the milk! Nevertheless, the family couldn't be happier.

After much consideration, Meera decided to adopt a daughter from India. All of her grandparents and her father were born there, so she felt that she wanted to help. She adopted a one year old from India, who had been called Anjali. The baby had dark black hair and dark eyes. She was skinny, but very happy and laughed at everything. Meera named her new daughter Lola, but kept Anjali as her middle name. She chose to make her last name hyphenated as well, mostly because she didn't want her to feel less important than Claudia.
Meera's friends and family were very supportive of her decision. And everyone in the family is quite happy. Lola is adjusting well to life in America, and is now better fed. Claudia likes having a sister, though sometimes she gets a bit jealous.
Meera is content with two children for the moment, but in the future, might wish to have another child, either by adoption or her own. She is finally starting to get over Mike's death and perhaps would consider starting to date again, though she has yet to find the right guy.

It was a big of a shock for the couples, as they had planned to hold off on having kids for a few more years, just until they got the hang of living a nomadic life. Still, by the time baby Molly arrived, everyone was thrilled and ready for her. Cate and Carlos decided to name her after Carlos's mother, Maria, and they liked the name Alessia, and so their child came to be named Mary Alessia. The family has decided to call her Molly for short. Molly has blonde hair and blue eyes, eyes that Kate thinks may change color later on in her lifetime. A few weeks after Molly was born the family left Italy for Spain and soon after left Spain for France. Right before their departure from Spain, Tali discovered she was pregnant. Although it was planned, Tali was still worried when she found out. Molly had proven to be an ima's girl, above anything, and she did not want to ruin her relationship with the little girl (and at the same time, she worried that if both children were drawn to her it could cause Cate to feel resentment to her, and Cate was her best friend). Fortunately that was not the case. After the birth of Amit, the family decided to spend an extra few months in France, adapting to being a family of six, before moving on to a new country.
The days of the family go on at a relatively slow pace. Every morning Elad and Carlos head to work at their hospital, a small, nearby one. Molly attends a nearby preschool, something Tali insisted on so that the little girl learns the language. Then, Cate watches the baby while Tali works as a blogger (Cate's father's best friend's fifth wife expressed interest in their lifestyle, when she heard about it, and offered to pay them to blog about it). After their work is done, Cate and Tali do the chores, and Tali eventually heads over to the preschool to pick up her favorite little blondie.
Weekends are always fun for the family. Carlos, Tali, Elad, and Cate take turns planning what to do, each getting their own weekend per month. Sometimes they take the kids with them, and other times they leave Molly and Amit with the sitter.
Molly speaks French fluently now, as well as Spanish, and the parents are working on English, Italian, and Hebrew with her. They hope, one day, she will thank them for her unusual upbringing.

As Lyla resembles Linus so much, the parents are also very curious to see what Adrian's child will look like. Pregnancy goes otherwise well but Aurelia feels very tired and spends most of her days in bed drawing cute animal pictures for Lyla to color and browsing baby name books. Sometimes Aurelia feels sad as she knows that her parents don't accept her choice to have a family with a gay couple and don't even want to meet her children. But seeing little Lyla being happy and loved makes her absolutely sure that she wouldn't ever trade her family with Adrian and Linus to anything.
Little Amabel Ione is born a month early and is quite small but otherwise perfectly healthy. She has Adrian's brown hair and seems to have Aurelia's blue eyes. Donor 118E has been lucky for her again, this time in only two cycles, leaving 3 vials still in cold storage. She's on cloud nine, eagerly anticipating the near future when a baby boy or girl, perhaps with hair as red and eyes as blue as Stella's, will be in her arms.
Her second pregnancy seems as "textbook" as her first until she starts to throw up. Initially, she's not concerned; she had morning sickness with Stella, too. She knows it's a common symptom, and it can even be a positive sign that things are progressing normally. As the weeks pass, however, this proves to be anything but normal. Her nausea and vomiting intensify, and her weight begins to drop alarmingly as she begins to vomit up to 20 times a day. When she almost passes out after being unable to keep down even small sips of water, her neighbor takes her to the emergency room. The diagnosis: hyperemesis gravidarium resulting in dehydration and malnutrition. She is prescribed antiemetics, intravenous therepy to be administered by a home care nurse, and, when she can stomach it, a diet of clear liquids and bland foods.
For the first time, being a single parent is truly hard for Elinor. How can she care for Stella, to say nothing of working full time and taking care of their house, when she can't pick her head up from her pillow without the world spinning? She weighs her pride against Stella's needs and does the hardest thing: She asks for help, and she feels touched and blessed as her family and friends respond. Her beloved sister-in-law leaves her own family and comes to Elinor's aid, staying with her for up to a week a time to help her through the worst of it. Her neighbor's teenaged sons take over caring for her lawn, feeding the dogs, and bringing in her mail. Dear friends made through her local Single Moms by Choice chapter show up offering to mop floors or handle the grocery shopping. With their help and with an eye on the prize--her due date--Elinor and Stella make it through.

This time it was Micah who got pregnant. This upset Jill the most since she was the one actually trying to get pregnant. Kieran wasn't planning on starting a family with Micah for at least another four years. But this baby is welcomed into a loving family. Kieran just hopes to give Jill a baby soon so she doesn't get too upset.
If its a girl Micah wants to name it "Emy" Emlyn Shea Ferrell, if a boy Kieran was his first name to be after his Father, Nolan and his middle name to be Denver, to carry on Micah's family name.
I didn't know if you wanted me to choose which one (D or S) you can choose, it doesn't matter to me . . which ever name you like better :)

Logan & Benji have recently welcomed a son, whom they have named Smith Valjean. Their little boy came to them with the help of a surrogate, a lovely woman they found via an agency. There was much debate once they decided to go down that path as to which of them would be the biological father, but they couldn't decide on a fair way to do that so they decided to let fate decide. Their surrogate was implanted with two embryos, one biologically related to Logan, and the other to Benji. Only one took however, and they do not know, nor do they care, which of them is Smith's biological father at this point, though they realise that it may become obvious as Smith gets older.
Now, Smith Valjean is obviously a rather unusual name, but Logan & Benji love it as their baby is named after two of their all time favorite characters... Smith Jerrod from Sex and the City, and Jean Valjean from Les Miserables.

Logan & Benji's careers have really taken off with Logan having 3 exhibitions in popular New York gallerys planned for the next 6 months, and Benji just getting a job as choreographer for 'The Lion King' on broadway! Smith is a handsome boy, and while they still don't really care which of them is in fact his biological father, time has pointed that arrow firmly in Benji's direction as the resemblance between them as Smith grows is becoming very obvious.
When Smith was 2 and a half, they decided that they were ready to expand their family. After much discussion as to their options they again decided to use a surrogate and contacted the same agency they had used to conceive Smith. They asked if they were able to use the same woman again, but were disappointed when they were told that she was no longer on the agencies books. They queried if perhaps the agency would be willing to contact her just to make sure she definitely wasn't interested seeing as it was a sibling for a child she'd already carried, and they were thrilled when she agreed given the special circumstances. With the same surrogate secured, they then turned to the subject of this childs paternity. They knew by now that Smith was Bemji's biological son, the resemblance becoming uncanny, so decided that it was only far that this child be fathered by Logan. Once again their surrogate went through IVF and all parties concerned were so excited when she became pregnant on the first round.
The pregnancy went smoothly and their excitment only grew when they found out that they were to welcome a little girl. Logan and Benji have been talking to Smith a lot about what it means to be a big brother and have a little sister to look out for, and Smith is very excited to meet her when she arrives. They decided to once again name their daughter after things that are important to them, and have choosen the name Annie Nala. Annie is after the photographer Annie Leibovitz who has been an inspiration for Logan throughout his career, and Nala, well everyone knows who Nala is, and it seemed fitting with Benji now working on 'The Lion King'.
