How fun! I think Ninor needs to be evil a little more often...
So, we have another girl with the initials EO, OE, SV, or VS. I'll post the names starting with those letters from our mutual list. (Removing, of course, those we have previously used.)
E -
Elaine,
ElizaS -
Saskia,
Shiloh,
Sofia,
Sora
Since we have no names starting with O or V between us, we will have to come up with some others whichever way we go. But first, I'll address the names that we already have:
Elaine - I think this could work best as a middle name, though since I love it I'm open to using it as a first name as well.
Eliza - I like
Eliza but it's similar to
Elisabeth, which we've used as a middle name. Do we want to use something so similar again?
Saskia -
Love it.
Shiloh - I've been liking this less, and it's already in GP territory for me. I probably like this the least out of all the names on our list.
Sofia -
Love it.
Sora - I like it but it has a different feeling than our other names. The rest of our family has names that feel natural and earthy to me, and I don't get that at all from
Sora.
Out of these names, I like
Elaine,
Saskia, and
Sofia the most, and would use any of them in a heartbeat. However, I might not want to use an "S" name as the first name since we already have
Sarah Aisling and I don't really like using initial sounds. Especially since (with the exception of
Shiloh), the final syllables of our S names all end with the same sound.
Now, some O and V names I really like that might work when paired with E and S.
Orla - this is really the only "O" girls' name I like.
Vanamo - lovely Finnish flower name in my top ten. Emphasis is one first syllable. It's a bit offbeat so I understand if you don't like it!
Varda - a name I've just started to like. I think it's neat.
Veda - also in my top ten. "Knowledge" is a pretty nice meaning. Pronounced VAY-duh.
Vellamo - another
Finn name. Vella can be a nicename.
Though you haven't given me feedback yet, here are three combinations I like so far:
Orla ElaineVanamo SaskiaVeda Saskia
I think I like the two
Saskia combos the best (especially
Veda Saskia), so I'd love to hear feedback on both of those, as well as your own suggestions, of course. (:
