Message: "Noel?" - Behind the Name

We have used family names for middle names for our other kids. For this baby the boy name we probably should use is Noel. I don't dislike it but I don't necessarily love it. What are your thoughts on it? Do you think using Nolan would defeat the purpose of it being a namesake?
