Could you link to the article? I've seen one source that suggests that Annora de St Valery was also known as Alianore, but that doesn't mean that there was an etymological link between the two names. She post-dates Eleanor of Aquitaine so her family might simply have been using the name, and possibly gave Annora as a similar-sounding nickname.
