I love Sibyl Josephine! I pronounce it "SIB-il," though that second syllable is closer to "ull" than "ill."

I kind of like Sibyl. It has a frosty elegance to me. I pronounce it SIB ool.

I pronounce Sibyl as "SIB-l," to rhyme with quibble. I adore it. It's feminine without being overly sugary which makes a nice change of pace. It's very intelligent sounding as well. Add to that the mythological associations and I'm in heaven. Sibyl Josephine is wonderful. My stock combos for it is Sibyl Minerva. I also like Sibyl Morwenna and Sibyl Cornelia. Please don't change the spelling you have. If the noun is "a sibyl," then my vote is to keep it Sibyl for a name.

I agree with Bear:"I adore it. It's feminine without being overly sugary which makes a nice change of pace. It's very intelligent sounding as well. Add to that the mythological associations and I'm in heaven. "Sibyl Josephine is nice.

Sib- el I really dislike this name. We had a very "white trash" neighbor growing up with this name. She eventually left her family for a tatoo artist biker. Everyone called her Sy.

SIB-ul. It reminds me of that crazy lady in the one movie...that;s why I dislike it. I prefer Zabel (zah-BEL) and your combo is nice :)

I do love Sibyl, though I prefer Sybil which is the spelling I knew, thanks to Downton Abbey, and Sybil Josephine was on my list a while ago. Great choice :)

SIB-əl. It's okay, but I really like the combo Sibyl Josephine. It's really pretty and shiny and jewelly.

SIH-bill. I love Sibyl Josephine! If you really want to love the name Sibyl, watch the series Downton Abbey. It's my favorite show, and there is a lovable young Lady Sibyl in the show.
