Five long years have passed, and they have not all been easy. Only two years after the birth of the last royal child, the queen suffered a miscarriage, which left her health weak for months afterwards. Before her strength had fully returned, an attack was launched on the kingdom--and not from where it was expected. An ally the kingdom's biggest rival had been secretly supporting launched an attack and attempted to invade. For three long years war raged on, the royal forces constantly repelling invasion attempts from both kingdoms. Finally the war ended and treaties were made, but the people were tired and many had died. The king and queen's reunion after the final battle produced the latest royal child, whose name reflects the ending of years of war (means peace, battle, victory, etc.). Was the war's end a victory for your kingdom or a stalemate? How much has the kingdom suffered?

Two years, almost to the day, after Alex and Chris were born Josie was told that she was pregnant again. The pregnancy was hard from the get-go and she was put on bed rest three months later, unfortunately, that didn't seem to help and two weeks after that she lost the baby. Not long after that the Bufaelanians attacked some of Thylos' border towns with next to no warning and made it clear that they were planning to march on the capitol city.

With Theo busy with defensive strategies most of the time - he didn't want to attack the Bufaelanians because they were better armed - Josie was free to relax and slowly recover. In the third year, though Josie wanted her to stay, Magda insisted upon returning to Rojesch to see her husband. Rojesch is one of the border cities and Josie feared for her lover's safety, rightly so as Rojesch was burned to the ground a few months later in a particularly brutal attack and only Oskar and Magda's eldest Adelheid survived.

After that Theo was enraged and started focusing on pushing the Bufaelanians out of their land. They succeeded eleven months after the burning of Rojesch and after their crushing defeat at Jialon the Bufaelanians brokered a peace treaty with the Thylosians.

Fürstin Josephina can hardly believe it but it's been a year since the war ended. She is now a mother of six but little Victorius is the first one she truly wanted. She sees him as a sign of better times.
The war was so unexpected! For years the duchy had had problems with Zeerburg-Münligen but the attack came from their ally, Beckenburg, a small but very powerful duchy in the south west. This would have been her biggerst concern had it not been for her miscarriage. She feels like she will never really recover from the loss of that baby. She badly wanted it but at the same time, it was the best thing that could happen. Josephina feels so guilty for her thoughts but she is certain the baby was not Gergoriu's III child. Soon after the birth of the twins she started to go for walks with the excuse that little Gregorius wanted to see the horses in the stable. In reality the boy didn't care much for the animals but Josephina wanted to meet the stable boy Tilo Kimard. And she did. It didn't take long for their shy hellos to turn into passionate and secret meetings. Fürstin Josephina experienced true desire for the first time. But it could only end one way. When Josephina got pregant she was terrified that Gregorius III would find out. He probably would have if there hadn't been a declaration of war so shortly after her being 'ill'. It was a relief that he had to go to war with the troops. Though she was left on her own with much to do she really enjoyed her newfound freedom. She kept seeing Tilo for a while but eventually decided that it wasn't right. She was heartbroken and she suspects that Tilo felt the same way but there was nothing she could do about it.

1529. For the past three years, war raged on and on endlessly. Pope Clement VII, also known as Guilio de' Medici, has decided to drive Charles V from Italian soil, and his request for assistance was provided from everywhere. In the beginning of the trouble, Romolo was reluctant to join a war, preferring instead to stay in peace. While everyone else was preparing for war, Lucrezia found herself pregnant again, though this one was much harder than the previous ones. A few months into her pregnancy, she suffered a fall, and while she broke no bones, kept on crying and complaining that her stomach is hurting. She feared greatly that her unborn child was injured; in a while she was proved right. Lucrezia suffered a miscarriage and mourned it greatly.

Before she even recovered from her miscarriage, a startling attack pounced on Urbino. Charles V's forces, having been pushed every way, decided to take on Urbino and attacked in a sudden ambush. The people were not expecting an attack and was defeated quite badly, and though they managed to defend themselves adequately, were shocked and furious. They refused to face a war sitting down under threat of death. Romolo gave in and joined the League of Cognac, along with France, the Pope, England, the Duchy of Venice, and the Republic of Florence.

For three years a difficult war was fought. In 1527, Rome was attacked and sacked, leaving the Pope practically out of the war, making the situation more and more difficult. Finally, after three years of bitter war, a treaty was signed, ending the situation at last. Romolo returned to Urbino with his men, having lost many faithful soldiers, but neither bettered nor at worse ends for the most part.

Dellorne has just ended a war with the neighboring country of Numar. It seems that Duke Erik, the exiled traitor, had found allies in the desert, nomadic nation and, with his generous gifts of gold, bought favor with the Emperor and his wife. Numar borders only a small strip of land in southern Dellorne, but many soldiers entered by sea as well, laying siege to the kingdom.

The King and Queen have had another child - a princess. They wanted her names to reflect these past years who have been tough on everyone. Princess Matilda was born healthy, and the people of Navaria were delighted when they found out that the meaning of her name was "strenght in battle".

Prince Casimir was born the evening Nick announced victory over Tellya, so Valli chose two names for him with "peace" meanings, and a third name after a famous Greek warrior
