Actually,
Lili Marlene (in every possible spelling of both
Lili and
Marlene) keeps popping up in
BAs lately.
Lily (again, in whatever spelling ;-) ) is wildly popular right now and
Marlene is being rediscovered... so I guess it seems a "logical" combo to some parents.
However, I agree with you: whenever I read this combo,
Marlene Dietrich starts singing in my head.

Dean is an odd combo, isn't it? I don't know why, but for some reason it reminds me of whiskey... Is there a whiskey brand of that name or am I mixing it up with
Jack Daniel's?
This is the third
Berenike I've seen in
BAs recently. I love this name, I could actually see myself using it.
Oh, and it's the second
Balthasar (I think).
I hate to disappoint you, but I assume
Franziska and
Pauline probably don't have a middle name.
