It interest me as a bit of evidence to the truth of the resurrection of Christ, that one raised in the family of Herod the Great (and terrible) with Herod Antipas, who beheaded John the Baptist, became a teacher and prophet. Surely something staggering happened to transform a man from such a family background into a preeminent figure in the church at Antioch.
