I never thought much about it until I noticed it on the name of a church in the area where my parents used to live. It struck me as feeling very adventurous, but also quite academic. Like he wouldn't be such an impetuous globetrotter. He would be very observant of what he saw and write it all down when he returned home from his adventures. And keep all his books in his awesome library.
