[Opinions] Mina
WDYT of Mina? Not WILhelmina, just Mina?
Too 'Dracula'?
Too 'Dracula'?

It's OK but a bit short. I prefer it as a nickname but it's OK alone.
There are other full names other than Wilhelmina. How about Marina, Malvina, Adamina, Martina, Jasmin/a, Yasmin/a,

It's cute, but I like Minna more.
I love Mina. It has such a lovely sound.
It's not too Dracula at all.

Sweet and simple, and yet not boring. I love it.
I think Mina is a nice, friendly sort of name. I get an artistic vibe as well and I think she can stand on her own just fine. I wasn't aware of the "Dracula" connection, but that's neither a plus or minus for me.
It's cute, but looks a bit too "simple" to me. I'm not a huge fan of -ina names in general.
I love Mina! I don't think of Dracula at all. I usually think of Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon (Sailor Venus' name was Mina in the English dub).
The Dracula connection is what makes it cool. I'm not into the modern vampire stuff. But make it Victorian and I'm all in.
Mina can stand on its own very well. It's sweet and mysterious at the same time. My stock combos for her are Mina Violet (sweet side) and Mina Scheherazade (exotic side).

I like it. I know of a baby Mina. I think she was born in 2006 or 2007.
I love it as a nickname; as a full name, however, it seems too insubstantial.
I do like the 'Dracula' connection, however.

I call my cat Minnelli "Mina" as a cutesy nickname. If it wasn't for that I might like it more, as it is the name is just to syrupy sweet for me.
Yeah, too Dracula for me. But I also just don't really like the sound. Not sure why. I love Nina. I think the M just makes it seem too closed up front, if that makes sense.
I love it because it has that Dracula background. I think otherwise I'd find it whiny and vapid.
I like it, and no, I don't think it's too tied to "Dracula" to use. Mina is probably well-known enough as a nickname for Wilhelmina and as a name in its own right that people probably wouldn't assume that it was used because of the novel or movies.
Mina is simple in terms of spelling and sound, but it's not a typical name at least here in the U.S., so I find it interesting without being out there.
