I know a French girl named Eléa and my
German friend is
Elea. They both pronounce it eh-LAY-ah (it sounds a bit different, the first eh is long and the LAY sounds like a mixture of LAY and LEH, but I'm not good at explaining pronunciations).
However it made me think of Eleah, pronounced like
Leah with an Eh sound at the beginning. I guess you could also use
Elea but I'm scared people witl pronounce it with only two syllables. I like it because it sounds nice and doesn't have
Leah's meaning and bible story (which I dislike).
Opinions?
