Greetings:I am tryong to find the origin and meaning of the name Omegia. The name is for a female and appears to found primarily in the southeast united states.Thanks.AlAn

It's probably a variant of Omega, which seems to have been occasionaly used as a name in America during the 1800s (kind of in the same vein as Alpha).
