The following year, the Magros welcomed two additions to their family: a daughter-in-law, and a grandson! About four months into their marriage, Dora and Alvise announced that they are expecting a child. The pregnancy was a smooth and easy one for Dora, especially with help from her proud mother and envious sisters. The labour, too, was a quick one, which was very fortunate, as if it had been any longer, Alvise might have drowned into a panic attack! Their baby was a boy, and Alvise immediately asked that he be named after his father-in-law. Romolo, however, was less than thrilled with the idea, and insisted that it not be so. Wishing to honour his decision, Alvise decided to name the son Dante instead, after his own father. Dora added the second name Louis, after Alvise himself, and so the boy was named.
When little Dante was about a month or two, Silvio and Yvaine celebrated their wedding. While it was a bit earlier than what Lavinia had expected, she was happy for her son and willingly supported his decision, even though she isn't so sure about the timing. Lavinia knows that Silvio had always been a whimsical one, and for her it didn't matter for him to be fleeting with the timing, as long as he wasn't fleeting about the bride! Their wedding was a happy one, even though it was a small celebration. Candida was soon dreaming of the day her own charming prince will sweep her of her feet, while Lea was too preoccupied with making admiring comments about how pretty Yvaine was (or how pretty Yvaine's dress was, or hair, or flowers). Vittorio loved being the centre of attention from the women in the party, but during the entire hour before the wedding, Taddeo was nowhere to be seen. When Silvio rushed out, calling his name and in utter panic, the young werewolf returned, tears streaking down his cheeks. He was frightened that Silvio wouldn't have the time to be with him now that he's going to be married, and had nearly decided to run away had he not heard his brother calling for him. After some consolation and reassurance, the two of them returned for the happy celebration.
