I'm a Latin geek so all I see is Gaius Iulius Caesar! Caius would be a better variant IMO. Gaius is only a character name IMO, definitely not a little child's name.
Linus, Atticus and Lucius are great. Just Atticus is so entwined with "To Kill a Mockingbird" now.
