I have a slight fascination with ancient Egytpian culture, so I actually have
Ramses on my name list, spelled that way. I think it's cleaner and easier to process, not to metion I just like it's aesthetics better.
I think
Ramses is a really cook association, and honestly I don't think many people will know about his exploits other than just the name so I think it's probably ok to use in that sense.
I would almost definately use it as a middle name, as it just sounds better and less pretentious there. Somebody with the middle name
Ramses would to me be eclectic, wise beyong his years, quirky but in a unique not bad way. I would use
Ramses as a mn, as I said.
