2. Ages are required. I'll keep up with them.
3. Please respond to each prompt. Even if it's only a few lines, it helps those who want to write longer stories to know what is going on with other characters. That being said, if you are part of a family or connected to another player, make sure you read what they post before you so your stories don't contradict.

This round, no one has aged. We'll assume every wife was close to delivery at the time of sign-up.
It has been one year since Kriana emerged from the war as a united kingdom. The Queen, determined to establish her new kingdom's legitimacy, has invited envoys from Lethia, Deklan, and other kingdoms across the Lari Ocean to come to her court to discuss trade and other arrangements. Despite being heavily pregnant with her first child, she insisted on being personally involved in every negotiation and discussion that went on as well as carrying out her normal duties. Everyone says she has taken to ruling naturally, her seriousness and honest desire to do right be her new kingdom and people making up for lack of experience. Part of her success is her careful selection of advisors, choosing people of all types (including non-human beings) who have shown skill in leading and ruling. Still working out the new code of laws for the new kingdom, at least one day a week is set aside for hearing petitions about new laws and policies coming from all sides, from her advisors to commoners. It was during one of these sessions that the queen went into labor. After a long but relatively easy labor, she delivered a healthy child to the rejoicing of the people, happy for a healthy heir. The queen and her King Consort presented the new baby to the envoys, showing that they can have faith Kriana will continue. The royal child was the first in a general baby boom, and people seem generally excited and optimistic about the future of Kriana.
What has your family been doing since the creation of the kingdom? how has it changed their lives? Are they better or worse? Are they part of the general optimism, or are they still uncertain about the new kingdom?

Minnie and Silas have been busy establishing Kriana in the past few months, with all the diplomats and meetings and treaties that needed to be dealt with they barely had time for themselves. She even began to go into labour during on of her meetings. Chloe, apparently, has her Mother's stubborness and her own sense of time.
The new parents couldn't be happier about how everything is going so far and that their daughter has three cousins all roughly the same age to play with.
Alexandra has been rather annoying the past few months and Minnie is considering granting her brother an estate three days ride away so that Alexandra would be inclined to go but doesn't want to part with Demetrius just yet.
Hermione and Ari have been extremely helpful the past few months, Minnie doesn't think she could have gotten as far as she did without their help.

Still, he was somehow shocked when Flora sat him down and told him that she suspected she was pregnant. Ambrose immediately (or almost immediately – he had to get over his shock, first) checked his wife over with his magic and discovered that she was, indeed, pregnant!
The couple were jubilant at the thought of a baby on the way, and, through his magic, Ambrose was soon able to learn that they were expecting a boy! Ambrose and Flora quickly settled on the names Basil (just cause they liked it), Cosmas (after Flora’s father), and Robert (after Ambrose’s father) for their little boy.
Flora realized that, being pregnant, she would be unable to continue helping to train warriors and militia, but she learned that her cousin Hermione had a similar problem. Thus, Flora began to spend more time with her cousin, and the two grew closer than they’d ever been in the following months.
During the months when Queen Minerva was pregnant, Ambrose had to regularly advise her, for the sake of her child, not to take too much responsibility on herself. He encouraged her to allow King Silas to take some of the burden off of her shoulders – although, he always assured her that he was not implying that she was incapable, but simply that the health of the baby would be determined by how well the Queen took care of herself. This was Ambrose’s greatest contribution to the affairs of the newly-united Kriana, and all the influence he really wanted.
Also, although he had told her not to take any trips far from home in the final months of her pregnancy, Ambrose was secretly glad not to be there when Princess Alexandra delivered her and Prince Demetrius’ daughter. The woman was constantly complaining of pain when she hadn’t been in labor; Ambrose couldn’t imagine what she’d be like during – although, he heard that she’d been a terror…

But now that Lavinia is home-bound and with baby Dora to take care of, Romolo is left on his own to earn a living for their newly-formed family. And as one of the so-called "beast races", Romolo had difficulty finding an employer. At last he found work with a hunter, to be a hunting assistant (in truth, a sort of hunting and retrieving dog). His master paid him decently - more than what he could have got elsewhere - but Romolo found it painfully unfair how he and other werewolves could only find work where they are willing to be literally treated like dogs.

Answer, may help others too

I'm going to assume a Rowling-esque world where pretty much any creature or being you can think of is present somewhere, even if they aren't what you would expect them to be. So assume there are elves, fairies, centaurs, gablins, gnomes, giants, dwarves, etc. If you introduce them, you get to decide what they are like!

I'm going to assume a Rowling-esque world where pretty much any creature or being you can think of is present somewhere, even if they aren't what you would expect them to be. So assume there are elves, fairies, centaurs, gablins, gnomes, giants, dwarves, etc. If you introduce them, you get to decide what they are like!

Magnus has been extremely busy with the Harbor, Korphos, and the trade that has began commencing with foreign principalities. The envoys have been coming in droves not only caring goods but diplomats. The ports have started to require maintenance and the port authority Reginald has been up to his elbows in work. This period in negotiations and foreign diplomacy is critical for Kriana. Magnus is very happy with a united Kriana but is unsure how the future status of the newly united land will be.
Magnus holds council with the Queen frequently because he holds ownership of the harbor something that in normal countries is not common. (The harbor would be from my understanding of our country the only one because the other sides would be landlocked, please let me know if my thinking is wrong) Magnus refuses to give up the harbor but is happy to rent out the ports and to keep his port authority supervisor, Reginald, in charge of the maintenance. Magnus keeps control over all procedures and financial obligations. The Queen has hopefully come to terms that Magnus will retain control. This is do largely to the fact that Magnus is a very well connected with a large portion of Lethia, Darkla and other kingdoms mercenary and rather unsavory characters who would be more then willing to pay for use of the harbor and allow Magnus to keep ownership.

About harbor...
The entire southern border of Kriana is coastline, so it actually has a few natural harbors. However, Magnus can have ownership of the harbor in Fairlin, the royal city and so probably the most important.

Hermione had been feeling left out of the pregnancy boon as she watched her sisters grow big with child and felt a strange sense of loneliness. She spent much of her time focused on her training and the rest focused on aiding Minnie with the diplomatic envoys, especially helping plan and execute state dinners and balls to entertain all of their important guests. She has been especially active in matters of magical laws and regulations, and is an adamant proponent of setting up academies for the magically gifted in order to improve the training of Krianian mages. Among all these duties, her training remained intensely physical and intensely magical, as both Hermione and Minnie are acutely aware of their need to be prepared to defend their fledgling country.
William has been helpful in the diplomacy as well, especially in quelling minor uprisings that support his own kingship. He supports the Reys without question, and has made it very clear that he desires that the land remain united under the new queen. His presence in the royal family has often calmed dignitaries from foreign lands who feel slightly nervous about the new queen. He has helped Minnie learn administrative tricks, having helped his father with lawmaking when possible. He has proven himself a gentleman and a true supporter of the new royal family.

Status: Royal Family (Brother and Sister-in-Law to the Queen)
Alexandra has completely enjoyed her first year as royalty. She fully takes advantage of her new position and the social influence it gives her. Since Demetrius indulges his wife's excessive desires, Alexandra spends an unheard of amount of money on clothing and jewelry. She frequently throws lavish parties, inviting anyone within her exclusive social circle. Alexandra's temper has been especially short recently, due to her pregnancy. She expects everything to be done perfectly to her standards and frequently takes her anger out on the servants. As the pregnancy developed, she's been lashing out at everyone around her, even her sisters-in-law who were never really fond of Alexandra to begin with.
Demetrius has been trying to prove himself to his sisters, to show them he can handle responsibility. He's been sent on a few diplomatic trips overseas, but so far hasn't been given any particularly important tasks. It was on one of these oversea trips that his wife gave birth. Demetrius wished he had been there for the birth of his daughter, yet was relieved in a way because he had heard that Alexandra was very difficult during the labor. She was rude to the Healer and generally made everything hard.

Alexandra has completely enjoyed her first year as royalty. She fully takes advantage of her new position and the social influence it gives her. Since Demetrius indulges his wife's excessive desires, Alexandra spends an unheard of amount of money on clothing and jewelry. She frequently throws lavish parties, inviting anyone within her exclusive social circle. Alexandra's temper has been especially short recently, due to her pregnancy. She expects everything to be done perfectly to her standards and frequently takes her anger out on the servants. As the pregnancy developed, she's been lashing out at everyone around her, even her sisters-in-law who were never really fond of Alexandra to begin with.
Demetrius has been trying to prove himself to his sisters, to show them he can handle responsibility. He's been sent on a few diplomatic trips overseas, but so far hasn't been given any particularly important tasks. It was on one of these oversea trips that his wife gave birth. Demetrius wished he had been there for the birth of his daughter, yet was relieved in a way because he had heard that Alexandra was very difficult during the labor. She was rude to the Healer and generally made everything hard.

Not long after Minnie discovered she was pregnant, Ari disvocered she herself was pregnant as well. She and Nicholas were both very excited to be parents and, though part of them missed the excitement, were glad they were no longer active spies. Spying was for single people, as Ari said, but diplomacy was for families. The two of them, especially Ari, have been extremely busy with the new envoys. Her skills with people have proved to be extremely useful, and she has been able to smooth many potentially-tense situations. Her demeanor is naturally calming, and she has become a vital part of the process of making Kriana a world player.
Ari was the second to go into labor, just a month after Minnie. When the baby was born, a perfect and beautiful baby girl, both Ari and Nicholas instantly knew what her name would be. Like Ari, she was born with bright violet, almost amethyst-colored eyes. The only name for her was Ione. Ari decided to give her a longer name, honoring her family tradition in her own way by giving her the middle name Cassandra. Her second middle name honored Minnie, as Ari wanted to show how proud she was of her sister.

Ella and Elias have a darling daughter: Veronica Catherine Daniella Jocelyn. They call her Vera. Elias is really excited that Kriana has become it's own country. He's always been taught from the time he was born to hope that that would happen. And now it has!

Gaelen and Lorien have had very little time to enjoy married life. Shortly after the queen of Kriana invited envoys from all the neighboring countries, the couple has been busy ensuring the visiting diplomats safety.
Lorien was especially excited about meeting someone from her own country. A messenger was sent to the south, but returned empty-handed. Apparently he was met outside the borders of the country by the prince himself, and told that no one would be able to attend. Lorien has had a hard time with her pregnancy, it has become clear that the child inside of her has some power as well, it was quite draining at times. But nevertheless, she has still been hard at traveling with Gaelen and training the small, but growing army.
Gaelen has been very excited about becoming a father. Because they have been so busy, he hasn’t had time to build them a real home. So for the last couple of weeks he has been using every spare moment to build a home for his family. One of the elderly knights that became almost like a father to him, recently died. It has been difficult for Gaelen to bear. But hopefully the arrival of the baby will ease his loss
