Maelon
is Welsh, comes from an Old Welsh word for prince or leader (mael), and is the name of a legendary prince in the folk tale of St Dwynwen: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Dydd_Santes_Dwynwen
It's very uncommon as a modern Welsh name, quite probably because of the legend.
Artis as a surname is probably derived from Artois: http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/artis

Awesome, thanks for the info!
How is Maelon pronounced?

The Penguin Book of Hindu Names by Maneka Gandhi says that Hasika is from a Sanskrit word that meant "abloom; smiling; causing laughter."
The literal meaning in Sanskrit is laughter, jester or causing laughter. Abloom is poetic license, I guess :-)
Yay! I had thought that it meant laughter but I was unsure. Such a lovely meaning for such a lovely name! :D
I like Ferelith and I found this before - http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/meaning_of_Ferelith.html
I don't know what Forbflaith means. The -flaith element could be princess as in Orfhlaith. I wonder was it spelled Forbhfhlaith.

My internet quest for Ferelith ... caveat emptor
The spellings Forbhlaith, Forbhflaith, Ferneleth, Forflissa, Forueleth, Ferueleth, Forbflaith appear in various places.
A reference I've found online citing records of maybe 4 people named:

claims that Forbhflaith means "perfect princess" ... dunno.
