I love it! It's one of my favourite names. It's so incredibly charming and sweet. I think it's very old-fashioned but it only serves to make the name that much sweeter. :) I can see myself definitely using it in the future.

I could definitely see it on a 21st century girl. I know of a lady who has a daughter named Mabel Rose and I think that's just about as darling as you can get. I also like Mabel Jane and Mabel Pearl. I think it sounds best when paired with a one-syllable middle name.
