I love Hattie as a nickname, but am not the least bit into Harriet or Henriette. I have been looking for other options and now been very successful. Sigh.
Lately I've been wondering if there's a Ha- name and a T- name combo that might peak my interest. Then one could conceivably get Hattie from the combo, not just the first name, you know? In the vein of Hannah Tatum or something. Heather Tallulah. I don't know. How does that strike your fancy?
I think Mattie only works for Marta, not Martha. Personally I like Mattie for Matea.
