I think Hattie is too nicknamey to be used on its own, but I do think Hattie Fleur is cute.

Sure! I think Hattie was Hattie McDaniel's legal name.

Cute nn, but way too cute for a full name IMO. I'd hate to be an adult called just Hattie, without the option of a more adult name if I wanted it.

I think of it as a nn for Henrietta. So if Harriet isn't your cup of tea, perhaps Henrietta could work. Or, going off on a wild and crazy tangent, how about Hatshepsut, nn Hattie?

I feel like there is someone here who knows a Hattie that is just Hattie. Either Hattie or Hetty - I can't recall. Maybe beethoven?
