[Opinions] Nigel
What do you think of Nigel? Is it too oh-so-proper and so veddy upper-class?

It is a bit prim and proper. I wouldn't use it because it sounds too British, and I'm not British.

No friends.Nigel isn't usable on children in Australia. A 'nigel' is an unpopular loner.

...as in Tufnel?Sorry, I had to do it- I'm a big Spinal Tap fan. :)Seriously, though, I see nothing wrong with the name. It's a little stuffy, but in a good way. It still sounds approachable and warm.

It is very upper-class. I like it.

I can see it that way, but I more see it as a very average guy name. I've been coming around on it lately. It's loveably doofy.

Nigel was Xavier's character's name in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. He had to come up with a stereotypical English name and that's what he came up with.I like it, but it reminds me of Tim Curry as Nigel Thornberry.

Nerdy Nigel. Sorry, it's the first thing that comes to mind! Lol.

Yes, in my opinion. I don't know where you live, but I have always thought it to be very British. It's got a nice sound to it, and I think it is perfectly usable, but it is a bit proper.
