William. Liam. Runner up Will. Bill is too old fashion.
Alexander. Alex. Xander is gross and Sandy is a girl name.
Patricia. Tricia. Patty sounds grandmaish.
John. Why would John need a nn. John is the nn. Johnny for a kid. Jack for an adult.

Elizabeth. Liz. Runner up is Eliza. Beth makes me assume your name is Bethany. Betsy sounds old ladish.
Margaret--Maggie. Meg makes me assume your name is Megan. Peggy doesn't even make sense. Margie does make more sense but I just don't like it much.
Henry. Henry is way better than any of the nn it has and doesn't even need one. I refuse to use a nn for Henry.

Edward. Ed. I don't get why Ted or Ned are even options.

Cynthia. Cindy. Why would you want to call your kid Cyn.
