Congratulations Maya and Elad!
Please welcome Avi Yosef (5), Liora Irit (2), and Deborah Tahlia (2)! Liora and Deborah are sisters from Hebron, Israel and Avi is from Eilat, Israel. All three children have been in an orphanage since they were born.
Liora and Deborah are twins. Their mother died soon after giving birth to them, and their father had left her before they were born. Though identical, they are easily distinguishable by their contrasting personalities. Liora is bubbly and constantly babbling, while Deborah is much quieter. Liora enjoys exploring new territory and making friends. Deborah prefers keeping the company of those with whom she is familiar, and gets scared when she is first brought to a new place with new people. Deborah is very willing to engage in one activity for a length of time (she especially enjoys coloring), but Liora is easily distracted with a short attention span.
Avi is a very charismatic little boy. He enjoys being the center of attention, and likes playing with other children. He enjoys being outdoors, and has an affinity for swimming. His mother's husband is in the Israeli army, and was away during the time of the pregnancy. She put him up for adoption to avoid her husband learning of her infidelity. Avi fears abandonment above all else, and he has a deep desire for a stable, loving home.
Please let us know how Liora, Deborah, and Avi are doing in your family!

Dear Norah's Adoption Agency,
Today is the first anniversary of the children's adoption. We can hardly believe that only a year ago Avi, Lio, and Tali came into our lives. It seems like forever ago and yet just like yesterday.
Avi loves playing with his big brother... and sister! He follows them around and they don't really mind.
Lio loves following her big sister or her aunt.
Tali loves her mommy.
