Calla is really cute as a nickname for Calliope.

I love the name Calliope. I really don't pay attention to nicknames, however.

It reminds me of a very overrated novel that I don't like and its unlikeable protagonist. Which is a shame, because the name is beautiful, especially the background. I like Poppy as a nickname.

Calla and Pea? I like it, it is underused in my opinion.

I like it, but I don't really think it could be used as a first name in real life. As for nicknames, though, all I have is Lio.

I think the nickname Cappy is adorable. Lolly and Poppy could also work.

Calliope is pretty. Calliope music is an ok association for me, although maybe not for everyone. Allie, Pia, Io, Lia...that's the best I've got, and they're all quite a stretch. Sorry.
