I like Demetra the best. Demeter is a cool name, but I prefer the sound of Demetra. The "tria" part of Demetria doesn't do much for me.

I like Demetria. The modern Greek form is Demetra but i wouldn't use it. I don't like it's sound and it's very popular.

I have the same dilemma! I think Demeter, Demetra, and Demetria are all great names. I suppose I like Demetra slightly above the others. It's more feminine-sounding than Demeter but not as frilly as Demetria. They're all very rare names here so I don't think Demetra would get confused with Demetria. I'd consider Demetra or Demetria if there wasn't already a lot of D names in my family.

I like Demeter best. It's so much simpler. Demetra doesn't sound quite right to me and Demetria feels fancy which just doesn't suit with the meaning of the names. Demeter is so elegant without being flowery and I would definitely consider it if DBF liked it.

I like Demeter best. I'm really liking unfrilly girl names right now, and the strength of Demeter appeals to me a lot. Very pretty!

Hm, I had forgotten about Demetra. I like it about the same as Demetria - I like its 3-syllable-ness (instead of 4). And it doesn't share the drawback (the one drawback) of Demetria, which is that it sounds vaguely like a medical term. People would probably misread Demetra as Demetria sometimes. I think Demitra is fine too; or even Dimitra is intuitive, because of the name Dimitri.

I'm so used to seeing Demetria, though, that I think I'd feel safest with that. And, since I'm not all that comfy with four syllable personal names, and I'm not all that inhibited from certain kinds of name-sinning, I'd probably call her some much shorter nickname like Deitra, Mita, or Dima.

It's funny. I love Demetria. Love it -- but I really dislike Demeter which doesn't seem feminine or pleasant sounding at all. It's just so awkward to me. Demetra is marginally better.

Demetria is a queen among names. I'd be too scared to pick anything else. She might come after me. Gawd but she's gorgeous.

Demeter is great too, very earthy and artsy at the same time.

I like Demeter, but I'm still not sure how to say it. I've heard various ways so often (I'm pagan so I suppose I hear it more than most people) and each person seems convinced they've got it right. I say "de-MEE-ter", but a lot of my friends say "DEH-meh-ter".

But regardless, I like that one best, it seems most straightforward and I like the non-a ending actually.
