[Opinions] Celebrity BA (Alanis Morissette)
Alanis Morissette and Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway welcomed a baby boy, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, on Dec. 25th.(I think I knew a young boy named Imre whose father was of Turkish descent. Or maybe it was Imran...?!)

Imre is interesting, but I think Ever is much more feminine than masculine.

I don't like it. Ever is really feminine to me, and even if it wasn't I kind of expected a "name" name from Alanis Morissette. I don't know why...I guess it's just because actual names amoung celeb babies are so rare (except Max) and she doesn't seem like the kind to just go with everyone else.

Hmm - I'm not keen on Ever - but Imre is ok.

Another Ever? I swear another celebrity used Ever/Everly, but I can't remember who it was right now.It's...okay. Nothing to be embarrassed about, but not special, either. I think the combo is a little awkward.I just knew she'd have a boy for some reason.

I always remember the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis used Everly Bear for his child a couple of years ago; I sometimes forget whether it was a boy or girl so I looked it up! "According to Anthony, Everly is named after one of Anthony's favorite bands, The Everly Brothers and the name Bear was something Heather came up with. Anthony said that the name Bear made sense to him 'because he's from me and I feel like I'm part of the bear clan, and I think it's nice to have a little bit of earth in your name.'"

Wow, Anthony, how high were you when you came up with this explanation? ;)

I love Imre! Wonder where they got it from. I rarely see it outside of Hungary.
Ever is one of those word names I don't get the appeal of (I keep saying "never ever" in my head).ETA: I looked it up and Imre is her twin brother's middle name and her mother is Hungarian:-)

Remember that "All Saints" song from a few years back?I believe it was called "Never Ever", and they said those words about a million times in the chorus. This name will remind me of that song, now... forever . ;)

I don't remember the song (was never a fan of All Saints), but it might be in my subconsciousness and the reason I find this name so annoying.

I was never a fan, either, but they played that song on the radio nonstop when I was in high school. Ugh- it was inescapable.

eh not a fan of the name. I like Ever or Everly on a girl better.
