A real family with six children; the parents are American but the dad is in the military and was sent to
Europe, so all the kids were born in
France. They live in Naples now. Since the mom is full Japanese-American, the six were given two middle names, one Japanese.
LN: (three syllables, starts with D, ends with eee sound)
DS:
Adrien Hayato Joseph, 17
DD:
Cateline Keiko Maria Magdalena, 15
DD:
Elisabeth Yukiko Emmanuelle, 12
DS:
Daniel Stephane (adopted), 12
DS:
Robert Kazuo Thomas, 9
DD:
Liliane Sayuri Rose, 7
Robert,
Joseph, and
Thomas are honoring grandfathers and a great-uncle, while
Cateline was chosen because a grandmother is
Cathleen and an aunt is
Katherine.
Liliane is sometimes
Lili, and
Robert is usually
Robbie, apparently partially because
Cateline said when he was born, "you can't name a baby
Robert!"
What do you think? I like them, and even the meanings of all the names fit them, though they were of course babies when the birth certificates were filled out.
