[Opinions] Silas
What are your thoughts on Silas? I can't decide whether I like it or not.

I think it's nice.
Of the same family, I prefer the full form "Silouan", which is the name of an important Orthodox Christian saint, Silouan the Athonite (1866-1938).

I have grown to love it but hubby hates it...
It's not one I would use.
I love it. It's one of my favorites for a boy. It's not overly common, but it's not too complicated in terms of spelling and pronunciation, so I don't think that it would be butchered very often, which is a good thing.
I like its meaning as well ("wood, forest").

I love the name Silas. It has such an old-fashioned and yet very handsome vibe to it.
I love this name. I think it's quite different but also accessible and still usable.
