British Prime Minister David Cameron and wife Samantha welcomed daughter Florence Rose Endellion on August 24. She joins older siblings Nancy Gwen Beatrice and Arthur Elwen (goes by Elwen). Their severely disabled son Ivan Reginald Ian died last year aged 6.
They like honoring names: Reginald is Samantha’s father, Ian is David’s father, Arthur was David’s great-grandfather (numerous others in both family trees), Samantha’s grandmother was Nancie Muriel Denise Soames, Gwendoline is Samantha’s middle name, Samantha’s half-sister is Flora, St Endellion is a village in Cornwall near where Florence was born.
