[Facts] Rarchar: French, German, or Thai?
Hello, my Name is Rarchar Siamjit Tortorello and I'm trying to locate the history of my first name "Rarchar". My mother died when I was a kid and I've always wondered about where the name originated from...she grew up French and I think it is a variation of Richard. Can an expert shed some light on this?

Hello Rarchar,
I'm not an expert but I consulted Duden - Das große Vornamenlexikon which I consider the best German name book and they do not list Rarchar. I have never heard it myself, so the only information I can give you is that it is most likely not a German name.
Good luck with any further research!
