Pasha is derived from the Turkish "basha", which is a variation of "pash" meaning "head" (there is no distinguishing between the letters p and b in Old Turkish).
I have found no evidence to support that
Pasha is Albanian -- though Ottoman Pashas did did occasionally employ Albanians, mainly as mercenaries and collectors of the so called "harac" (Albanian term?) (a tax paid by non-Moslems in the Ottoman empire to literally keep their heads attached to their bodies).
