I love the name Coraline. The only time I've heard it was in the kids' movie of the same name, but I really like it. I put it on my short list immediately, although I can see people confusing her with Caroline.

Coraline is too much a word to be a name, in my opinion. But Coralie is wonderful!

It's ok... Could work. Don't think I've met anyone by this name. I've got an old uni buddy named Coral and I believe I may have met a Coralee at some point, but not a Coraline. Sounds name-like enough that it could work though. If you want to use it, I wouldn't think you a freak. I actually think it more appealing than some of the current trends.
