Help[Games] Create-A-Family 3
It's round 3 and time for another child. This time will be only a single child, but it may not be a natural birth. Roll the dice at www.random.org/dice to find out how your next child comes into this world. Roll a second time to determine the gender. Odd numbers are boys and even numbers are girls. Choose a name from your catergory with names that indicate their birth, such as number names or ones meaning son and daughter, etc.
1. It's a natural child birth.
2. You've adopted a child, but not in the traditional manner. He/she is not a baby, but a teenager yet. You can pick the exact age. Tell a little about their story.
3. You've had to use a surrogate. The child can be you and your SO's or one of the parents can be someone else.
4. A member of your family has passed away and left you in charge of his/her child. This child is not a baby, but not yet a teenager.
5. You're supposed to have another multiples birth, but only one survives. Your choice as to how many, what happens, and whether or not you name them.
6. This is a suprise birth. Either you didn't know you were pregnant or you give birth at an odd place or time.

Patrizio and I knew we were expecting a baby, but I was not sure how far along I was. So we were in the middle of traveling with the boys to go visit my mother in VeniceNaples when I gave birth. Luckily we were able to reach an inn, where the inn's kitchen girl helped me deliver. In our gratitude, we named our daughter Arianna after her and offered her a position as my personal maid. She declined, but was glad to accept our offer to travel with us to Venice, where she has an older sister whose family she happily joined.

God has blessed Peter and Jael with abundant harvests, but they live frugally. It is rare for them to splurge, but when their beautiful quadruplets turned two, it was an occasion for celebration. Jael had done a lot of planning and preparation for the party, and didn't want to miss it. She was 8 1/2 months pregnant with her next child, a daughter, on their birthday, but expected no trouble--she had carried the older kids for that long, after all, and there were 4 of them. When her labor started, it was during the party. But she figured she had a few hours, so she continued to play the hostess, and didn't tell Peter what was going on. One of the activities she had planned was storytime on the spaceship--because you can't host a kids' party next to a spaceship and never let them on! She planned to tell one of Ethan's wild tales--he would have liked that.
Things didn't quite go as planned, though--her labor got harder and soon she realized that she didn't even have time to call the midwife. Peter cleared out the gaggle of toddlers and, with the help of a few other moms, Jael gave birth to her third daughter. Onboard Chloe.
The baby was a healthy little girl. It turns out there aren't any Biblical names meaning "born at a birthday party on a spaceship", so Peter and Jael thought an appropriate name might be Helah, which meant "rust". Because it's all going into the fire one day, right? Even Chloe. (And no way was Jael naming her daughter Chloe). Helah made for awkward nicknames, though, so Peter and Jael call their daughter Beth (from her middle name).

Zoya is taking in clothing again and repairing it. She's very good at what she does, and several ladies have told her that she should set up her own shop. Zoya would rather spend the time with her kids, however. Milena and Anatoliy are four now. They are delightful children who like to run around outside all day long. Milena recovered well from her bout with pneumonia as an infant, and has been healthy since. Close to six months ago, Milena and Anatoliy brought a friend home with them for dinner, because she didn't have anywhere else to eat. Timur and Zoya happily fed the girl, whose name is Sofiya. Sofiya returned the next three days for dinner, and finally Zoya asked if she had a home to go back to at night. Sofiya said she didn't. After talking it over with Timur, Zoya invited Sofiya to live with them. Sofiya gladly agreed, because she liked playing with the twins and has been living with the Petrov family ever since. She doesn't remember her last name and had been wandering on the streets since she was little. Timur recently "baptized" her into the family by giving her the name Sofiya Miloslava Petrov.

Surprise! Caelia gave birth to another little boy. They named him Decimus Livianus. His name, meaning ten, was picked because he was the tenth grandson of Caelia's mother. Decimus joined his brother as a surprise--even to his parents. Caelia and Sextilius were out with their twin boys under a tree in their friends' yard--they had just moved there not too long ago--when Caelia felt the birthing pains. Sextilius hurried her inside the house, where the farmer's wife helped bring the little Decimus Livianus into the world.
