Pand-e-roth = roden/Rodung = to pull up (trees), the pulling up (of trees)
pand=house=building=piece of land=behaviour(?)=canal
or
Pander = pender + roth
Pender is a Dutch profession
If there is a place with this name, i sadly don't know
