I really like Mina / Minna, and also Min. I guess you could use Nera or Nerva (?), but those are my favorite options.

Also this will sound weird but if all else fail how about Athena. Becuase Minerva is the Roman name of the Goddesses Athena. That's if all else fails.

Minna would work, and I think Mina might work too even though the beginning is pronounced differently than the beginning of Minerva. You could also use Erva or Ervie as a nickname, but I definitely prefer Minna and Mina.

It's a hard one. But you could always make a nickname form the meaning of Minerva, like how Pearl is a nickname for Margaret.
