Yes, I'd use it and Ronan Gabriel is actually my fave combo at the moment (I'm on a Gabriel kick).

Yes, I do like it. I used to live near a St Ronan's Road, which is how I've heard of the name. It's attractive and underused.
Ronan Lucas is great, in addition to the two you mention.
I would also suggest Ronan David
