King Alexander officially named Princess Amelia as Heir Apparent and Crown Princess. After seeing what a natural leader she was and how she had the support of all her siblings, he felt as if his choice had been made for him! She was officially made Crown Princess on her wedding day, as is traditional in Lethian society. It was the proudest day of her parents' lives, and everyone is sure she'll be a wonderful queen. Everyone except one person, that is. The king's first cousin, a man named Andrew, was hoping that with the king's indecision he would be able to weasel his way into the throne. Once the king named Amelia, he attempted a coup. He was overthorwn and quickly put down, but the incident shook Amelia and Matthew, and the entire family. But it brought something good--a young female spy named Aida who helped the royal family greatly has fallen in love with Prince Lucien, who has also fallen in love with her. The king and queen heartily gave their consent, although Aida is from a common background and the two are only fifteen. Like Amelia, however, they plan to wait until they are twenty-one to marry.
