Keturah!!
I've used Ketta as a nn for a very minor character I have named Keturah. Keta makes more sense though. I also like Kestrel, but I'm not sure it really looks like Keta could be a pet form.(I think the name Kathe is pronounced like Ketta, but I'm not entirely sure.)

Lol, great minds think alike? If you would prefer I don't use it, I totally understand. Kathe is pretty similar. The first vowel is just drawn out a tad bit more. I call it flatter, if that makes any sense, but I do like it too. :)

I doubt the story my Keturah character is in will ever be published anyway and she's a fairly minor character as it is.
It's a great name. It should be used!I actually discovered Kathe first, then Ketta. No one knows how to pronounce Kathe where I'm from anyway.Hope your story works out well. =)
