[Opinions] Aaron/Erin

No, it's not... I'd use Aren.
This is a name that I really dislike. I don't think that the spelling Aryn improves it any. Arwyn doesn't seem to make sense. It seems like that would be pronounced AR-win. I don't like that either, but I don't think that I hate it as much as I do Erin.
Clearly I'm pretty proud of the Erin spelling myself, but there was a period in high school where I spelled it Erynn just for kicks. It seems ridiculous to me now. Aryn is pretty I think but Arywn just makes me say Arwen over and over. Erin and Aaron aren't related etymologically and in some accents sound totally different.
I really like the spelling Aryn, actually, even though I haven't seen it before. I'm not so sure about Arywn - I think it would cause too many confusions over pronounciation.
I think so too.
Yes. I agree. I love the Irish part of Erin and love the Eireann spelling best of all. I would only use Aran as a substitute if that matters to you that is....
Then again..... if it doesn't matter and you just like the sound I suppose you could also use Ehren. Ehren is masculine but so rare in western circles that it wouldn't be readily recognized as such. I believe the meaning of Ehren is eagle.. prn just a bit different but at the end of the day, us USAers will prob just say it the same as Erin....
