[Opinions] Totally mismatched twin set, wdyt?
In a Kindergarten class there are twin girls Jaidyn (prn Jy-din not Jay-din)and her twin sister Cordelia.I was delighted to see Cordelia - I don't necessarily love it, but I do like it and appreciate hearing infrequently used old fashioned names! I was astounded to hear her sister's name was Jaidyn. It's hideous, in my opinion - as Jayden is one of my most disliked names and a creative variant to me is just dreadful. What do you think?

I'm a fan of non-matchy twin names but you really notice it with these two 0_o. Although, I guess to a non-name nerd, Jaidyn (ick) might seem as 'unique' as Cordelia?

Presumably each parent got to use their favourite name. But, in that case how did they ever get together in the first place? I would not willingly marry a man who liked Jaidyn.

Crazy...the only thing I can think of is that maybe mom named one and dad named the other?

Well I like Jaidyn though not to big on the spelling and I don't like Cordelia and they do not match at all.

I know twins named Corliss and Doreen. (They are in their 30s)

That is surprising. Jaidyn and Cordelia don't go together at all.

Love, love, love Cordelia. Jaidyn, not such a fan of. You're right, completely mismatched.

Wow...Those are definitely mismatched...about as mismatched as it gets imo! I like Jayden but not Jaidyn. There is something off-sounding about the pronunciation JY-din to me.

How strange. Cordelia is lovely but Jaidyn (JYE-din?) is terrible.

Wow, you're absolutely right. It's almost as if the children were named by two different people. Cordelia is quirky cool. Jaidyn is, as you say, hideous.

Maybe that's what happened: the parents couldn't agree on any names so each parent got to name one of the twins... ;-)I quite like Cordelia. Jaidyn... uhm, no, that's not really my cup of tea.

Cordelia is awesome! Jaidyn? Not so much. It sounds like someone extremely "country" is trying to say Jay-den.

It is really mismatched, and while I love Cordelia Jaidyn 's awful. Still I'd rather see a twinset of Jaidyn and Cordelia than Peyton and Payton and Anne and Anna, at least their parents knew that twins are distinct human beings.

That's so strage! Those names don't go together at all!Maybe Cordelia is spelled Kordylia or something so they match better! :P
