Welcome to Round 3! I've included some personally details about each family, except the Ewing's because they are sitting out this round. Enjoy!
The Ramirez Family
DH: Diego Adolfo
DW: Carmen Lucia
DS: José Miguel – b.1928
DS/DS: Eduardo Vicente/Enrique Yago (blue_belle) – b.1930
D?:
The year is 1933. Jose is 5 years old and Eduardo and Enrique are 3. The family is still living in Mexico & they’re expecting their 4th child! They are excited to welcome a new child but also a little frightened. The effects of the Great Depression are setting in, and while they’re not starving, they still struggle to give their child everything they’d like them to have. Nevertheless, they have hope and they would like their new child’s first and middle name to express that hope (in Spanish!).
The Garcia Family
DH: Juan Santiago “Sonny”
DW: Rita Matilde
DD/DD: Ruby Josephine/Eleanor Pearl – b.1918
DS: Henry Felipe (blue_belle) – b.1922
D?
The year is 1925. Ruby & Eleanor are 7 years old and Henry is 3. The family is still living in San Antonio, Texas and they're expecting their 4th child! The Garcia’s are enjoying all that the roaring 20’s have to offer. They are huge movie fans and they would like this baby to be named after their favorite silent film actor. So, the FN for both genders should be after a 1920’s silent film actor. They’d like the MN for a boy to mean “strong” and the MN for a girl to mean “beautiful”.
The Ewing Family
DH: Porter Benton "Benton"
DW: Opal Mae
DS: Richard Arling - b.1930
DD: Judy Opal (blue_belle) – b.1942
The Ewing’s are sitting this round out!
The Cole Family
DH: George Ellis
DW: Ruth Alene
DS: Wilson George – b. 1928
DS: Franklin Ellis (molly) – b.1935
D?:
The year is 1939. Wilson is 11 years old and Franklin is 4. The family is now living in Fence Lake, New Mexico and they’re expecting their 3rd child! If it's a boy they'd like his FN to be a last name & his MN to honor his daddy. Recently George has become fascinated with all things Australia so the couple would like this baby’s FN to be the name of a city or town in Australia and of course, it’s MN to honor it’s dad (if it’s a boy) or it’s mom (if it’s a girl)
