Oh, I like Frank. It makes me think of Ireland in the 1920's, during the Revolution / Civil War. I can picture a young freedom fighter with this name.Odd, I know.

That's funny. I am Irish and to me it makes me think of France. Probably because I have met a few French Franks/Francks and it was their full name not a nn for François.

I was a little scared to read your response. I'm glad you agree about the feeling / image of Frank. :-)Thinking about it more, I wonder if I'm drawing on Frank O'Connor and his wonderful short stories about that time.
