Well, wife of mine, we have had a daughter. As I said before, I love all of your girls names, and in addition I have a few suggestions of my own.So, thus far we have:
Alice
Poppy
Rosalie
Lydia
Anabel (prefer Annabelle)
Eleanor
Johanna (this spelling only)
Rosemary
Juliet
LaurelDo you have anything to add? Remove? After that we should start making some combos.

I like all the combo's you came up with. If its ok with you i'd definately like to use alice in our daughters name. other combo's Isabel Alice, Charlotte Alice, Alice Jane. Susannah is ok, it doesn't blow me away though. do we want a theme?

Oh forgot, the only honouring name i'm bothered about is Alice, If you have any honouring names important to you i'm happy to use them/it.

In that case, my dearest spouse, I'd like Alice Johanna or Alice Irene, if that's cool with you. Which do you like best?
As far as themes go, what kind of a theme were you thinking?

I think we should go with Alice Johanna
Theme- literature? 1 of the name could be after an author, or book character.

Hmm.. I think we should wait and see what our next child is, and what names we like before deciding on a theme, as I wouldn't want to get locked into using names we like less because of it. I'll post our family as it up top, we'll discuss this further next time you get pregnant, dear. Unless you have a few names in mind already? Throw them out into the open if you do, and we'll see. (Actually, it's too bad you weren't fond of Earnest - if we spelled it Ernest, we'd have a lovely literature theme and Alice and Ernest is such a cute sibset.)Other questions we need to answer: tell about the pregnancy and birth. How did it go? How is the couple adjusting? What did the relatives think? The Bakers

DD: Alice Johanna Baker (nb)I'll leave you to describe the pregnancy and birth, my darling. I think we're both adjusting fairly well to parenthood. Little Alice is a lovely baby most of the time, but the sleepless nights have been a bit hard on all our tempers, I think. Oh and I've forgotten - how long did you decide to breastfeed for, or did we go straight to formula?
My family was rather pleased to welcome a little girl, although my father was quite put out with the name choice. "It's one think to name a son for his father, but a daughter for their mother is preposterous!" Luckily, my mother shut him up before I could try. What did your family think, sweetheart?

I sailed through the pregnancy only getting mild morning sickness for a few weeks, I went into labour in week 41, I had a natural birth. Alice weighed 7lb and was 18 inch long. I tried to breastfeed but Alice decided she preferred formula.

I think your right dearest we shouldn't commit to a theme. I have literature names I like, let me know what you think, Ginevra, Jane, Adele, Charlotte, Georgiana, Marianne, Lydia, Julia, Emma, Isabella, Fleur, Hermione.
Thomas, Darcy, Charles, Frederick.

DoneI like all except Ginevra and Fleur.
For now though, shall we say we're finished this round? Let me know if you don't think we are.The Bakers

Happy with how our family looks our names go well together, little Alice even has your initials! Cute :)

I hadn't even noticed. That is cute! Will she be going by any nicknames to avoid confusion with yourself, darling wife, or are we happy to just call the both of you Alice?

Well I usually I get Ally. So either Lissy, Liss or just Alice. Though Lissy might be cute for while she's young. Wdyt?

Lissy while she's young is cute, but mostly Alice. Sounds good to me!
