I quite like Rhea as a nickname for Rhiannon but I was wondering if anyone had some other suggestions for names which Rhea could be a nickname for? I'm also wondering how you are prn Rhea? I just heard it said like RAY and I've always pronounced it REE-a

I just see big birds like ostriches. And Rhea Silvia was the mother of Romulus and Remus. I don't see how anyone could get RAY from it. As for a nn for Rhiannon, why not spell it Rhia and make life easier?

I would pronounce Rhea "REE-uh" and Rheia "RAY-uh".

Ria is a nickname for Maria.

I love this name, I've known one person with this name and she pronounced it RAY-a, so that how I say it.

I can't think of what else it might be a nickname for, but I am kind of intrigued to see if anyone else has suggestions. The combo I've been sticking with for this name is;
Rhea Angelina Ariadne Esther
