[Games] Your Adoptees

Cian Shane is a 3-year-old boy from Ireland. His parents put him up for adoption at birth, as they did not want to deal with his condition. Cian has oculocutaneous albinism, which causes him to have poor eyesight, photophobia and get sunburnt easily. It is possible that in the future he may need surgery to correct his eyesight; sunscreen also needs to be constantly applied, especially when outdoors or in places with plenty of sunlight. Cian loves to draw and fingerpaint, and he has a passion for Disney films and characters. His favourite toys include, but are not limited to, plastic aeroplanes, cars and Lego blocks. Cian is a very smiley, extroverted and generous child, and he is also very straight-forward and blunt in his speech (for example, if he sees someone eating a piece of cake, he will shamelessly ask the person for some). Cian has straight white hair, blue-red eyes and very fair skin.
Lan-Fen and Ming-Qiu are two-month-old twin girls from China. Their parents put them up for adoption because they wanted a boy. Lan-Fen and Ming-Qiu do not have any interests yet, but they seem to like colourful objects and soothing music. Ming-Qiu seems to be fussier than her sister, but both of them are fairly quiet, despite being very curious about the world surrounding them. Both girls have straight black hair, brown eyes and fair skin.
We would love to hear how the children are doing!

Three Years Later
All of our children are doing extremely well. Cian is coping well with his condition. When he was about four he began asking why he was differet, and we had a long talk explaining it to him so he could understand. He started kindergarten last year and after a little initial wariness he made a lot of friends. Thankfully, his eyesight has gotten no worse and the doctors have agreed that glasses are the best option now. We may consider surgery when he is older, but for now he is content. He is very close to Gwen, who is very protective over her little brother, and he and Benny love to play ball with one another. Cian is joining Benny's old T-ball team this year. We are also enrolling him in art classes. He loves drawing Mickey Mouse and Simba, and all our family is impressed with his talent.
When we adopted our second set of twin girls, we made Lan-Fen and Ming-Qiu their middle names. They have been Annabelle Lan-Fen and Samantha Ming-Qiu for the last three years. They have developed very different personalities. Annie is extremely precocious and very curious about everything. She is a real go-getter and would rather figure things out herself than let anyone help her. Sam is quieter and loves animals. Her favorite color is red, and she loves to draw. Cian is very excited about this and is always hovering every time she has a crayon to see what she'll make. The girls have recently started noticing they look different than Mommy and Daddy and their brothers and sisters. We have explained to them about adoption and China and we are planning another trip there in another year or so to show them where they came from.
Thank you for giving us our wonderful son and daughters!
