[Opinions] WDYT - names for twins
My mother always wanted twins, a girl and a boy. There is no history of twins on either side of our family so imagine her surprise when her wish was granted and my brother and I were born. She wanted our names to "go" together but not rhyme, our names are Margo and McCall (my father's middle name). At the time, 45 years ago, both names were unusal and not popular with public opinion. How about now? Let me know what you think, I have a friend who is thinking about using them.

I've never heard of McCall before, so Margo is probably much more common. I like Margo much more. McCall is okay but the capital C kind of bothers me a little. My last name has a captial letter in it and people always forget. Perhaps it could be spelled Micall? I think people would get it so easily confused with Michael though. I personally don're really like McCall or Michael at all, but if your friend does, she should go for it regardless of what others think. I wouldn't worry to much about any opinion other than her own.
For girl and boy twins, I think Aaliyah and Elijah are cute. Ali and Eli. They go well together and also don't rhyme.

Neither are my style. Margo is a first name, so that's fine. McCall doesn't sound like it should be a first name to me, but since it's your dad's middle name, it's ok by me.

I think they're really cool. I love Margo! And I don't have much of a problem with McSurnames being used as forenames on boys. It's sort of a GP of mine.
