[Facts] Re: Is ''NA'' a japanese name and if so what's it meaning?
in reply to a message by egyptianpanda
The phonetic one used in Nara,
"To pay, supply, accept, or store,"
"vegetables,"
and "south"
I'm not sure which character pronounced "Na" is "pay, supply, accept, store." The other three are all definitely used in names. Na in itself is not a name as far as I know, but Nana is a common girls' name which can be written with any one of these characters, followed by a symbol which is the Japanese equivalent of ditto marks. "Na" is also an element in many popular girl's names like Hina, Yuuna, Aina, etc.

I'm sorry, I can't type kanji on the computer, but if it helps the other pronounciations for the character are:
nou
tou
nan and
osu
