Greg and Jaden welcomed their son, Thomas Luciano Sullivan, into the world at 6:00 pm on March 12. He was born two days late, but completely healthy. He weighed 6 lb. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long. Jaden had spent the day at home, and was almost finished making dinner. Greg had just arrived home from work and was freshening up in the bathroom when he heard Jaden stifle a yelp. When he came rushing into the kitchen, he knew immediately that it was time to go to the hospital. Jaden told him that she had been having light contractions on and off all day, and that she thought the baby might finally be ready to arrive. After they drove to the hospital, it only took two hours for Thomas to be born. Both Greg and Jaden were overjoyed to have a son. They chose the name Thomas Luciano because Thomas was a name they both liked, and Greg's parents gently insisted that they would like an Italian name to reflect Thomas' heritage. Greg proposed several family names, and Jaden chose Luciano as the one she liked best.
After a day in the hospital, doctors cleared both Jaden and Thomas to go home. Greg and Jaden were nervous about having the baby at home by themselves, but they needn't have worried. Greg's mother came and is staying with them for a week or two. Jaden's mother is also planning to come and stay with them for a few weeks, but hasn't decided when yet. Thomas has been a pretty good baby so far. He's a little more colicky than most babies--according to Oria--but Jaden is in love with her little boy. She has three and a half months of maternity leave left, and hasn't yet decided if she wants to return to work.

One night when Raff was at work Avy started going into labour. She near panicked when she felt something strange going on inside of her and called her mom. Her mother came immediately and managed to calm her down. Then Avy called Raff at work and he came straight away as well. He didn't like it that Avy's mom was there though, since they didn't get along too well.
Avy insisted on going to the hospital, even though she previously had declared that she wanted the baby to be born at home. Giving birth was much harder than Avy had expected. She had been in labour for 33 hours when the baby arrived. It was a boy. Raff was very relieved about that and couldn't stop smiling. Avy cried tears of joy. Her mother kept saying "He's perfect".
Avy was very happy to be a mother and she was glad to see that Raff was behaving like a proper first time dad as well.
They named the boy Fabiano after his father, but were planning on calling him Fabian. His MN caused a bit more stress, as Avy insisted on a MN that 'meant' something to them, while Raff declared that both Hugo and Julian (Avy's father's names) were not going to be considered since he dislike both names. IN the end they went through names in Raff's family and Avy found that she really like Jacoby, Raff's brother's name. So they decided on Fabiano Jacoby "Fabian".
Most of the visitors they had were related to Avy. One day, unannounced, Jack (Jacoby) came by. Avy had expected him to be there to see the baby, but later on it appeared that he didn't really have a place to stay and wanted his brother's help. Raff quickly decided that he could stay with them, so that Jack could help with the baby and Raff could keep on working extra shifts. Avy was really unhappy about Raff deciding this without talking it through with her. He did proved to be a great help though, so Avy was actually happy to have an extra pair of hands around the house.

Vicky's birth was way more painful than I thought it would be (but then again who can imagine child birth). We decided to have a natural birth along time before she was born. Little Vicky decided to make her entrance into the world 2 weeks before her dute date. Luckily both Jeff and I were home when I went into labor. That was at about 9 O'Clock. When we got to the hospital we decided to call my parents and his parents to tell them the baby would be here today. My mom and dad didn't pick up the phone (because they were on Vacation) and Jeff's parents picked up, but they live so far away that all we could do is call them every so often with updates. When little Vicky entered the world at 5:19pm on May 14th she weighted 5lbs 9oz and was 18 in long. We originally planned to name the baby Yasmine Victoria but at the last second we decided on Victoria Elizabeth. Elizabeth is after my sister Ellie and Victoria is after Jeff's grandmother Vittoria. When we first brought Vicky home she seemed very quiet and sleepy but now she seems like she's more of a curious little girl. We ended up not having a baby shower, but people did shower her with gifts!

Kody went into labour two weeks too early. She stayed rather calm... up until the contractions got closer together. 18 tiring hours later, beautiful little Cameron Antonio was born, with five perfect fingers on each hand and five perfect toes on each foot. Oliver's hand was very sore during Kody's labor. Little Cameron was 8 pounds 2 ounces, and was 21 inches long. Cameron Antonio is a name they both came together with. Kody always loved the name Cameron, every since she was little. Oliver picked Antonio because the name, he said, was very masculine. Kody and Cameron were in the hospital for two days, to make sure everything was fine with both mother and child. At the hospital, both sets of parents came to see their newborn grandson. The siblings... they didn't care so much. Kody's cousin, Tiffanie, brought her daughter, Kody's goddaughter, Delilah, to see the newborn and mommy. Kody was happy to see her goddaughter, and let the five year old hold Cameron, which Oliver and Tiffanie both were highly against. Of course, Kody held Cameron with Delilah. She wasn't completely insane. The first couple days with Cameron was very hard. Both Oliver and Kody were used to sleeping, and they loved their sleep. Kody, of course, was used to being awoken in the night from times when she couldn't sleep through the night. Cameron's cries seem to pierce her soul, and she jolted awake from the unfitful sleep she always seemed to fall into. A couple times Oliver got up to take care of his little boy. He's a good baby for the most part, not very fussy except when he needs to be changed or fed. Kody fell in love with him on sight, as any mother would with her newborn baby. Oliver didn't seem too down about having a son though, he seemed rather estatic. So far some other family members and friends have stopped to releave the new parents of their newborn for a short time, though Kody could bare to leave Cameron, even in capable hands of her family and friends. Cameron had her wrapped around his little, baby finger.
