I pronounce
Eva
(ee-vuh) and
Ava
(ay-vuh).
I do know a few people who pronounce
Eva
(ev-uh) and
Ava
(Ah-vuh).

The three Evas I have known have been Ay-vuh, but I think they were all Eastern European (at least one of them was Hungarian). I'd pronounce
Ava
the same way, like
Ava
Gardner.
